These ecologically friendly shoes are made of natural materials such as bamboo cork, wool, water based cement, crepe, natural latex, jute, bamboo. The glue and dyes are water based and they use 50% recycled rubber in the soles of the standard Simple shoe line.

Also, you'll be happy to know, their factories comply with Amnesty International's guidelines for human rights standards in the workplace. Whew! Now that's a shoe I can step into.

The 'Play Toe' line are my favorites. They're a comfortable sneaker with Jute upper & laces, Colored crepe outsole and Laytex rubber heel, big toe cut-out on outsole, Cork and laytex pedbed with cool fall colors that I can't resist.
